Doing business in and with Ukraine
Do you want to contribute to the reconstruction of Ukraine as a company? You can find resources from the Special Envoy for Ukraine on the website of the Belgian Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

Regional representatives
In Belgium, foreign trade is a regional competence. Belgian companies wishing to develop or expand activities in Ukraine can therefore rely on a well-established ecosystem of federal and regional public agencies that provide information, guidance, and practical support.

ENABEL
The Belgian development agency Enabel is implementing a €150 million, four-year reconstruction programme in the Kyiv and Chernihiv regions, focusing on education, health, infrastructure, and energy. The programme follows a “build back better” approach aligned with EU standards, with strong emphasis on energy efficiency and green energy.
Cooperation with private companies takes place through public tendering procedures, published on BOSA e-Procurement and relayed by the regional trade agencies. While Enabel does not provide direct support to Belgian companies, it can support the training of Ukrainian technical personnel under the bilateral programme.
More information is available via the Enabel website or at representation.ukraine@enabel.be.
